Premier Paso Finos, LLC was established in 2001 and is owned and managed by Gary & Velaina Hickman. We are located 4 miles North of Dade City, Florida, and within an hours drive of Tampa, Orlando & Ocala.  A 50 acre equestrian facility with a 16 stall center isle barn, arena, covered round pen and plenty of easily accessible riding trails on and surrounding the property.

We are very dedicated to training the horses using the principles of Classical Dressage and Natural Horsemanship.  This ensures a equine partnership rather than a prisoner or prey animal relationship.  We do not use coersion, fear tactics or harsh equipment in our training process. We focus on ground work first, followed by suppling exercises from the saddle.  This helps the horses to work in relaxation and use the reasoning side of their brain.  Our foals are imprinted at birth and have been taught the fundamentals of ground school at a very early age. Developing the basic patterns of movement, good manners and respectfulness as a weanling, provides a phenomenal foundation for learning throughout their entire life.  We encourage all prospective and existing horse owners to take part in the training process. Developing good language and a strong bond between horse and rider is what we do best.
